Pierre-Olivier Beckers
Pierre-Olivier Beckers (1960) has been President and Chief Executive Officer of Delhaize Group since January 1, 1999. Mr. Beckers earned a Master’s degree in applied economics (I.A.G., Louvain-La-Neuve, Belgium) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He began working in the food retail industry in 1982 as a store manager for a bakery chain in Belgium. Mr. Beckers joined Delhaize Group in 1983, to work initially for three years in the U.S. operations of Delhaize Group as a store manager. After his return to Belgium, he broadened his retail experience as a buyer, director of purchasing, member of the Executive Committee and Executive Vice President in charge of international activities. In January 2000, Mr. Beckers was named Manager of the Year by the leading Belgian business magazine Trends/Tendances. He is on the Board of Directors of the Food Marketing Institute and of CIES – The Food Business Forum (an international food business network serving as interface between more than 400 retailers and suppliers from 50 countries). In 2002-2004, he served as Chairman of CIES. In December 2004, he was elected to a four-year term as President of the BOIC (Belgian Olympic Committee). Mr. Beckers is also Board member of Guberna and The Corporate Governance Committee.

Rick A. Anicetti
Rick Anicetti (1957) is Executive Vice President of Delhaize Group and Chief Executive Officer of Food Lion since August 2002. Mr. Anicetti began his food industry career at sister banner Hannaford Bros. Co. in 1980. After completing the company's retail management training program, he held a progression of roles of increasing responsibility and was ultimately named head of the southeastern operations of Hannaford. Mr. Anicetti joined Food Lion in August 2000 as Chief Operating Officer and was promoted to President in September 2001. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina, the North Carolina Citizens for Business and Industry and is Past President of the North Carolina Food Dealers Association. He also serves on the Executive Committee of the Carolinas Food Industry Council. He earned his Master's degree in Political Science from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Stéfan Descheemaeker
Stéfan Descheemaeker (1960) is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He holds a Masters’ degree as Commercial Engineer (Solvay Business School, Brussels). He started his career with Cobepa, at that time the Benelux investment company of BNP-Paribas. He later joined the holding company Defi as CEO of its financial subsidiary Definance, of which he led the IPO process. During this period, he built strong investment, financial and tax expertise. Stéfan Descheemaeker spent the last 12 years of his professional career with Anheuser-Busch InBev. In 1996, he joined the Belgian brewer where he became head of Strategy & External Growth, managing its M&A operations, culminating with the merger of Interbrew and AmBev in 2004. At that point in time, he transitioned to operational management, successfully in charge of respectively the brewer’s operations in the U.S. and Mexico, Central and Eastern Europe, and, eventually, Western Europe. In 2008, Stéfan Descheemaeker ended his operational responsibilities at Anheuser-Busch InBev and joined the company’s Board as non-executive director.

Michel Eeckhout
Michel Eeckhout (1949) is Executive Vice President of Delhaize Group and Chief Executive Officer of Delhaize Belgium. He joined Delhaize Group in 1978, as IT project leader and IT manager. In addition, he became Group coordinator for the IT-activities in Europe and Asia in 1992 and member of the Executive Committee of Delhaize Belgium in 1995. He was appointed Delhaize Group Vice President of Information Technology Processes and Systems in 2001 and was Chief Information Officer from 2002 to 2007. He became a member of the Executive Committee of Delhaize Group in September 2005. He is Board member of Fedis (Fédération belge de la Distribution). Michel Eeckhout earned a Master's degree in economics (UFSIA, Antwerp) and in European economics (ULB, Brussels, and an Executive Master in General Management (Solvay Business School, Brussels).

Ronald C. Hodge
Ronald C. Hodge (1948) is Executive Vice President of Delhaize Group and Chief Executive Officer of Hannaford. He joined Hannaford in 1980 and has served in various executive roles, including Vice President and General Manager of Hannaford's New York Division, Senior Vice President of Retail Operations, Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He has been named President of Hannaford Bros. Co. in December 2000 and Chief Executive Officer in 2001. While leading the start-up of Hannaford's entry into upstate New York, Mr. Hodge was elected Chairman of the New York State Food Merchant's Association, and served on several Community Agency Boards' of Directors. He chaired the Northeastern New York United Way Campaign in 1995 and was selected as the New York Capital Region's Citizen of the Year in 1996.

Nicolas Hollanders

Nicolas Hollanders (1962) is Executive Vice President of Human Resources and Organizational Development since 2007. After obtaining Master’s degrees in Law and Notary Law and a Post Graduate degree in Economics, he started his career as a lawyer. In 1989, he joined Delvaux, a Brussels-based manufacturer and distributor of luxury leather goods and accessories, first as General Manager, and from 1993 as Managing Director. In 1995, Mr. Hollanders joined the executive search firm Egon Zehnder International, where he served successively as consultant, principal and partner. He is Global Head of its Worldwide Life Sciences Practice Group. Mr. Hollanders is Chairman of the Jury “Hors pistes” of the King Baudouin Foundation and founding member and Chairman of Child Planet, a foundation aimed at improving living conditions in children hospitals.

Kostas Macheras
Kostas Macheras (1953) is Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer of Southeastern Europe. He joined Delhaize Group in 1997 as General Manager of Alfa-Beta Vassilopoulos. Since July 1, 2009, Kostas Macheras has added Mega Image, the Romanian operations of Delhaize Group to his responsibilities. Kostas Macheras started his professional career in retailing in the U.S., as purchasing manager at the Quality Super Market Company in Chicago. He worked for 14 years for Mars Inc. In 1982, he was in charge of sales, marketing and export in The Netherlands, and later became General Manager for Greece and Italy. From 1996 to 1997 he served as General Manager of Chipita International in Greece. Kostas Macheras was a Board member of EEDE (Hellenic Management Association) for nine years. He has been a member of the Board of Directors at EASE (Association of Greek Executive Officers) since 2008, and is also currently a Board member of SEET (Association of Greek Food Enterprises). In 2005, he was named Officer in the Order of Leopold II by King Albert II of Belgium. In April 2009, Kostas Macheras was elected Manager of the Year 2008 by the Hellenic Management Association. Kostas Macheras holds a BA from Piraeus University and an MBA from the Roosevelt University of Chicago (Business Administration & Marketing).

Michael Waller
Michael Waller (1953) is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and General Secretary of Delhaize Group, as well as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Delhaize America. Mr. Waller has been Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Delhaize America since July 2000. Previously, Mr. Waller was a partner in the international law firm Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. In the years prior to joining Delhaize America, Mr. Waller served as Managing Partner of Akin Gump's Moscow and London offices, and maintained an international corporate practice. Mr. Waller earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Auburn University and a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Houston, where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Houston Law Review. Prior to entering private practice, Mr. Waller served as a law clerk for U.S. District Judge Robert O'Conor, Jr. in the Southern District of Texas.

Pierre-Olivier Beckers
Pierre-Olivier Beckers (1960) est Administrateur Délégué et Président du Comité de Direction du Groupe Delhaize depuis le 1er janvier 1999, et Chief Executive Officer de Delhaize America depuis Septembre 2002. M. Beckers a obtenu un Master en économie appliquée (I.A.G., Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgique) et un M.B.A. en gestion commerciale à la Harvard Business School. M. Beckers a rejoint le secteur de la distribution alimentaire en 1982 comme directeur de magasin d'une chaîne de boulangerie en Belgique. Au service du Groupe Delhaize depuis 1983, il a d'abord travaillé 3 ans dans les activités américaines du Groupe comme directeur de magasin. Rick Anicetti
Rick Anicetti (1957) est Executive Vice President du Groupe Delhaize et Chief Executive Officer de Food Lion depuis août 2002. C'est chez Hannaford Bros Co., société-sœur de Food Lion, que Rick Anicetti a entamé, en 1980, sa carrière dans le secteur de la distribution alimentaire. Après avoir suivi le programme de formation à la distribution alimentaire au sein de la société, il a occupé différentes fonctions avec des responsabilités de plus en plus importantes, pour être finalement nommé à la tête des activités de Hannaford dans le sud-est des Etats-Unis. Rick Anicetti a rejoint Food Lion en août 2000 en tant que Chief Operating Officer et a été nommé President en septembre 2001. Stéfan Descheemaeker
Stéfan Descheemaeker (1960) est Executive Vice President et Chief Financial Officer. Il détient un Master d'Ingénieur Commercial (Solvay Business School, Bruxelles). Il a débuté sa carrière chez Cobepa, qui était alors la société d'investissement de BNP-Paribas au Benelux. Il a ensuite rejoint la société de holding Defi en tant qu'Administrateur Délégué de sa filiale financière Definance, dont il a géré l’introduction en bourse. Durant cette période, il s'est forgé une solide expérience dans le domaine des investissements, de la finance et des taxes. Stéfan a passé les douze dernières années de sa carrière professionnelle chez Anheuser-Busch InBev. En 1996, il a rejoint le brasseur belge en tant que responsable du département Strategy & External Growth, en charge de la gestion des opérations de fusions et acquisitions, avec, en apogée, la fusion d'Interbrew et AmBev en 2004. A partir de ce moment-là, il s'est occupé avec succès de la gestion opérationnelle, en charge successivement des activités du brasseur aux Etats-Unis et au Mexique, en Europe centrale et de l'Est, et, enfin, en Europe de l'Ouest. En 2008, Stéfan Descheemaeker a mis un terme à ses responsabilités opérationnelles chez Anheuser-Busch InBev et a rejoint le Conseil d'Administration en tant qu'administrateur non exécutif.

Michel Eeckhout
Michel Eeckhout (1949) est Executive Vice President du Groupe Delhaize et Chief Executive Officer de Delhaize Belgique. Il a rejoint le Groupe Delhaize en 1978 en tant que directeur de projet et manager IT. En 1992, il devint également coordinateur du Groupe, pour les activités IT en Europe et en Asie, et membre du Comité Exécutif de Delhaize Belgique en 1995. Il fut nommé Vice President of Information Technology Processes and Systems du Groupe Delhaize en 2001et Chief Information Officer en de 2002 à 2007. Pierre-Olivier Beckers (1960) is Directievoorzitter en Afgevaardigd Beheerder van Delhaize Groep sinds 1 januari 1999, en Chief Executive Officer van Delhaize America sinds September 2002. Dhr. Beckers behaalde een Master in toegepaste economische wetenschappen ( I.A.G., Louvain-La-Neuve, België) en een MBA aan de Harvard Business School. Hij begon zijn loopbaan in de voedingsdistributie in 1982 als winkelmanager voor een bakkerijketen in België. Dhr. Beckers vervoegde Delhaize Groep in 1983 en werkte eerst drie jaar als winkeldirecteur in de Amerikaanse activiteiten van de Groep. Na zijn terugkeer naar België verruimde hij zijn ervaring in de distributie als aankoper, directeur aankoop, lid van het Directiecomité en Uitvoerend Ondervoorzitter van het Directiecomité, verantwoordelijk voor de internationale activiteiten. In januari 2000 ontving hij de titel van Manager van het Jaar, een prestigieuze onderscheiding die wordt toegekend door het Belgische zakenblad Trends/Tendances. Hij zetelt in de Raad van Bestuur van het Food Marketing Institute en van CIES - The Food Business Forum (een internationaal netwerk voor de voedingsindustrie dat een ontmoetingsplaats vormt tussen distributeurs en leveranciers). Rick Anicetti
Rick Anicetti (1957) is Executive Vice President van Delhaize Groep en Chief Executive Officer van Food Lion sinds augustus 2002. Hij startte zijn loopbaan in de voedingssector in 1980 bij zusteronderneming Hannaford. Nadat hij daar het trainingsprogramma voor distributiemanagement had afgewerkt, bekleedde hij diverse functies met toenemende verantwoordelijkheden, om uiteindelijk de leiding te krijgen over Hannaford's activiteiten in het Zuid-Oosten van de Verenigde Staten. Op dat ogenblik stapte hij over naar het operationeel management, met succes leiding gevend aan respectievelijk de operaties van de brouwerij in de V.S. en Mexico, Centraal- en Oost-Europa en tenslotte ook West-Europa. In 2008 beëindigde Stéfan Descheemaeker zijn operationele verantwoordelijkheden bij Anheuser-Busch InBev en vervoegde hij de Raad van Bestuur van de onderneming als niet-uitvoerend bestuurder.

Kostas Macheras (1953) is Executive Vice President en Chief Executive Officer van Zuid-Oost Europa. Hij vervoegde Delhaize Groep in 1997 als General Manager van Alfa-Beta Vassilopoulos. Sinds 1 juli 2009 is Kostas Macheras ook verantwoordelijk voor Mega Image, de Roemeense activiteit van Delhaize Groep. Kostas Macheras startte zijn professionele carrière in de retailsector in de V.S., als aankoopdirecteur van Quality Super Market in Chicago. Hij werkte 14 jaar lang voor Mars Inc. In 1982 was hij verantwoordelijk voor de verkoop, marketing en export in Nederland en later werd hij General Manager voor Griekenland en Italië. Kostas Macheras was negen jaar lang lid van de Raad van Bestuur van EEDE (Hellenic Management Association). Hij is lid van de Raad van Bestuur van EASE (Association of Greek Executive Officers) sinds 2008 en momenteel ook van de Raad van Bestuur van SEET (Association of Greek Food Enterprises). In 2005 werd hij benoemd tot Officier in de Orde van Leopold II door Koning Albert II van België. In april 2009 werd Kostas Macheras verkozen tot Manager van het jaar 2008 door de Hellenic Management Association. Kostas Macheras is in het bezit van een BA van de Piraeus University en van een MBA van de Roosevelt University van Chicago (Business Administration & Marketing).

Michael Waller
Michael Waller (1953) is Executive Vice President, General Counsel en General Secretary van Delhaize Groep, alsook Executive Vice President, General Counsel en Secretaris van Delhaize America. Sinds juli 2000 was hij Executive Vice President, General Counsel en Secretary van Delhaize America, Inc. Voordien was dhr. Waller partner van het internationale advocatenkantoor Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer & Feld, L.L.P. Vooraleer Delhaize America te vervoegen, was dhr. Waller Managing Partner van de kantoren van Akin Gump in Moskou en Londen, en had een internationale zakenpraktijk. Dhr. Waller heeft een Master in psychologie, Auburn University, en is Doctor in de rechten, University of Houston, waar hij hoofdredacteur was van de Houston Law Review. Vóór zijn loopbaan in de privésector was dhr.Waller gerechtelijk assistent van de Amerikaanse districtsrechter Robert O'Connor, Jr in het zuidelijke district van Texas.
